A skydiver was stuck for more than two-and-a-half hours after crash landing upside-down in a tree.
While the 36-year-old eventually managed to turn himself up the right way, he remained stranded about 40m above the ground until rescuers could secure him and safely lower him to the ground.
The man had gone off course while skydiving at Moruya, on the NSW South Coast, on Tuesday morning and crash-landed into trees not far from Moruya Airport about 10.45am.

While initially hanging upside-down, “the man manoeuvred himself into a fork of the tree where he then turned himself upright,” Fire and Rescue NSW said.
FRNSW personnel joined police, ambulance, State Emergency Service and NSW Rural Fire Service crews to reach the man.
The skydiving company also called in an arborist who was able to secure the parachutist by climbing above him and attaching ropes that allowed FRNSW crews to lower him to the ground.
FRNSW said the rescue operation took approximately two-and-a-half hours.
The man was assessed by paramedics but was uninjured.
