Six times Lady Louise and Sophie have swapped clothes | Royal | News

The Duchess first wore the Peter Pilotto dress in 2015 when attending a hockey match in London.

The floral dress oozes sartorial elegance and features pink, teal, blue and violet hues which Sophie paired with wedges.

Seven years later, Lady Louise borrowed her mother’s dress for the Commonwealth Games in 2022 but toned it down with a pair of black trainers for a more everyday and casual look.

Sophie and Louise wearing the Alaia Parfum Gray dress

Both Sophie and Lady Louise have worn the adorably elegant Parfum Gray dress by the late Tunisian designer Alaïa.

Sophie wore the monochrome ensemble, which featured a fitted bodice and puff skirt, many times, including during The Patron’s Lunch celebrations to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday in 2016 paired with a black cardigan

Two years later, daughter Louise sported the same dress but with a cropped white bolero instead.

On Easter Sunday, Duchess Sophie looked elegant in a bold purple coat, which she paired with a matching snakeskin clutch bag, and a grey beret.

The beret is actually her daughter’s, who first wore the accessory for the 2022 Easter church service.

Sophie’s decision to wear the beret was seen as a sweet nod to her daughter, who skipped this year’s Easter church service to focus on her university studies.

But there was a particular fedora they both seem to be very much keen on – the Hayfield England fedora.
