Police were called twice in about seven hours for gunfire at a Scarborough movie theatre.

Toronto Police Duty-Insp. Todd Jocko said while there were no injuries in either shooting, officers found evidence of gunfire at the Woodside Square Plaza theatre in the Sandhurst Circle-McCowan Rd. area.
Police were called about the first shooting at 10:30 p.m. Saturday and a second time Sunday at 5:48 a.m.
This movie theatre was shot at this past June. The investigation is ongoing.
Home and vehicle hit by gunfire
Toronto Police officers are investigating a shooting early Sunday in which a vehicle and a house were hit by gunfire.
Officers were called at 3:17 a.m. to the Sheppard Ave.-Neilson Rd. area where they discovered evidence of gunshots.
There were no reports of injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

Watchdog investigates after man wounded in police shooting
The province’s Special Investigations Unit is investigating a police-involved shooting in Hamilton which wounded a man in his 30s.
Hamilton Police reported that a resident of an apartment building on Main St. W. was acting in a threatening manner on Saturday around 5 p.m.
After police arrived, shots were fired and an officer and a man suffered gunshot wounds.
Both were taken to hospital for treatment.
Six SIU investigators and two forensic investigators have been assigned to the case.
