Royal fans were more than impressed with the princess’s latest look and took to social media to express their excitement, with many commenting on how well the colour suits her.
One user wrote on Instagram: “She looks incredible as always! This color(sic) looks spectacular on her. I don’t remember seeing her very often in bolder purples like that. I am in love though. Such a beautiful contrast to all that green around her.”
Another one agreed: “This is one of Kate/Catgerine’s best daytime outfits ever. I love the dress and that purple colour is stunning on her. I’m liking the accessories and jewellery as well. Good to see her in lower heels too. Hope she enjoyed her time at Wimbledon today.”

The Princess of Wales, who is patron of the All England Club, was greeted by a standing ovation when she arrived in the Royal Box at Centre Court to watch Alcaraz’s victory over Novak Djokovic.
After leaving the court following the trophy ceremony, the princess and Alcaraz had a conversation in a room inside the tournament’s main stadium.
