For jewellery, Meghan opted for her beloved Juste un Clou necklace by Cartier (£15,500), and Birks’ Muse citrine and diamond drop earrings (£1,964). She kept her hair chic in a low ponytail.
Some royal fans loved Meghan’s brown ensemble, however, others pointed out that they were not impressed with the different fabrics.
One user wrote on Instagram: “I really love the brown shirt but I don’t like the different shades between the shirt and the pants.”
A second one agreed: “Not sure about this without her standing up. But I agree the browns are slightly different?”
A third one said: “I love the idea here. But all of the slightly different browns makes (sic)this a miss for me. Hair and makeup look perfect!”
Meanwhile, others loved the duchess’s look, praising for her style choice.
One user wrote: “She looks amazing!”
Another one chimed: “I love this color(sic) on her and LOVE the trousers [heart eyes emoji] but I wish the top was more fitted- her welcome outfit was chefs(sic) kiss!!”
A third one said: “She could wear a burlap sack and still look stunning!!”
A fourth one commented: “Perfection. Love the hair.”
A fifth one opined: “I think this is my favorite hair/makeup combo yet! Meghan’s outfits are the most relatable. I would need to “dupe” them because #toddlermomlife, but I truly think her style is easiest to emulate because of the simplicity of them. They’re practical, comfy looking, yet sophisticated.”
