Robert Irwin’s girlfriend Rorie Buckey is continuing to fill fans in on their blossoming relationship in the week since confirming their romance.
The couple, both 19, made their red carpet debut in July but it was not until August 25 that Irwin shared his first Instagram post with his girlfriend.
Buckey – the niece of late Australian actor Heath Ledger – shared a post with Irwin as they released a sea turtle following a rehabilitation program.

The photo showed Irwin beside his girlfriend and her mum – Kate Ledger, Heath’s sister – holding the turtle.
Buckey’s second picture shows a close-up of the animal ahead of its release back into the ocean.
“Releasing this beautiful Sea Turtle that was rehabilitated at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital 💛,” she captioned the post.
“Best day ever,” Irwin responded.
Also to reply was Yellow Wiggle Tsehay Hawkins who wrote, “This is so beautiful!”
Other fans were quick to share their support for Buckey and the conservationist work she has been involved in since starting to date Irwin.
“Great to see you doing this amazing work alongside the Irwin family,” one said.
“This makes me so happy,” a second said.
“The work that you all do is absolutely incredible and truly inspiring,” agreed another.
“You are beautiful! And so is your heart! I’m glad you’re helping these animals out,” a comment said.
The new photo comes after Buckey shared a photo of her and Irwin both dressed in activewear as they appeared to enjoy a hiking day on Sunday.
“Adventure buddy,” Buckey captioned the post.
Irwin responded with a heart emoji before his sister Bindi Irwin added, “You guys,” alongside three heart emojis.
Meanwhile, on her Instagram, Buckey shared another snap, taken on a Polaroid camera, which showed her and Irwin cuddling up together.
The couple was first spotted on a date night in Queensland in November 2022.
They were seen buying burgers and fries from Grill’d before heading to the beach to take in the scenery, New Idea reported at the time.
They were then spotted at Australia Zoo and together at Perth Airport.
In July, the couple made their red carpet debut at Sydney’s Mission Impossible premiere, putting on a loved-up display as they stepped out for their first public appearance.
