RIL, Mazagon Dock among 30 stocks with record dates for dividend, bonus, rights, split this week. Do you own any?

Reliance Industries, Tech Mahindra and Mazagon Dock among a host of other companies are likely to remain in focus this week as they are approaching their record dates for the purpose of dividend, bonus issues and stock split.

The record date is the date set by the company to decide the shareholders who are eligible to receive the offer. To be eligible for a buyback offer, bonus issue or a stock split, the shares should be in the demat account on the record date.

Shareholders who buy the stock at least one day before the ex-date are eligible for dividends as settlement happens the next day. Those buying the stock on the ex-date are not eligible for dividends/splits/bonus issues etc.

Here is a list of stocks that have their ex-dates for various purposes this week:

Monday, October 28

Dividend

Elecon Engineering Company announced a dividend of Rs 0.5 per share.ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company announced an interim dividend of Rs 5.5 per share.KSolves India announced an interim dividend of Rs 8 per share.

Bonus issue

Reliance Industries (RIL) has fixed October 28 as the record date for the purpose of their 1:1 bonus issue.

Rights issue

Shangar Decor had announced October 28 as the record date for the purpose of their rights issue of 7 shares for every share held by the shareholders at a price of Rs 5.76.

Stock split

Dr, Reddy’s Laboratories announced a stock split from a face value of Rs 5 per share to Re 1 per share.

Tuesday, October 29

Infosys declared an interim dividend of Rs 21 per share.

Route Mobile had announced an interim dividend of Rs 6 per share.
