Rihanna Mixes Work and Play in a Suit and Jersey

Perhaps inspired by the abundance of women’s suiting options on the runway this season (hello, Saint Laurent!), Rihanna channeled her inner businesswoman last night in Beverly Hills. But—as with all things Rih-related—never expect a straightforward suit and tie.

The Fenty mogul wore a sharp, double-breasted gray melange suit from Vivienne Westwood’s fall 2023 collection. This, however, was no boardroom look. Rihanna mixed work and play in her outfit, swapping a boring button-down and tie for a green-and-white striped soccer jersey and a pair of red Puma sneakers that matched her tomato-colored manicure. Rih added a smattering of feminine touches with some layered necklaces and a small Goyard Croisiere bag.

While Rihanna has been on quite the sporty kick lately, she always elevates her look with her dynamic styling. Just last week, while out in New York, she paired an orange Stüssy tracksuit, white tee, and Timbalands with a diamond tennis necklace. And last month, she enjoyed dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica wearing a black-and-white tracksuit, which she styled with brown Pumas and a black faux-fur shawl.

So whether she’s mixing suiting with jerseys or tracksuits with diamonds and fur, Rihanna is always going to do things her way.
