US police believe they have located the remains of a couple reported missing more than four decades ago.
Human remains were found submerged in a Georgia pond, inside a vehicle similar to the one that belonged to the New York Couple who disappeared in 1980.
One human bone was discovered in the submerged Lincoln Continental, the Glynn County Police Department said.

“The vehicle is similar to the description of a vehicle that Charles and Catherine Romer were believed to be driving when reported missing in April 1980,” police said.
The car was found in a pond between the Royal Inn Hotel and Interstate 95 on the New Jesup Hwy in southeast Georgia, police said.
The department is collaborating with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
Retired oil executive Charles Romer, 73, and his wife Catherine, 75, from Scarsdale, New York, vanished along with their 1978 Lincoln Continental while travelling home from Miami Beach, Florida.
Law enforcement back then expressed concerns about potential foul play partly because Catherine Romer was wearing about $81,000 worth of jewellery.
A sonar team from Florida found the car in the pond which was being drained, police said, to determine if there are additional remains.
