Sony’s Days of Play is currently under way, offering discounts on games, PS Plus subscriptions and even hardware like PS5 consoles and reduced PlayStation VR 2 headsets. While certain Days of Play bonuses will remain throughout the month of June, the discounts will only be available until June 12, making this your last chance to make big savings on PS5 consoles and games. And this includes at Argos, where the UK retailer is selling PS5 Slim and PS5 Digital consoles at their lowest ever price. As you can see from the links below, the regular PS5 console (which comes with a disc drive for physical games, DVDs and Blu-rays, is available for just £439. As an added bonus, Argos customers can pay in instalments using flexible credit. The PS5 Digital Edition, on the other hand, is currently priced at £349.99, which is a great price if you only plan to play downloadable games. Now, while these are the same prices as the PlayStation Direct website, Argos customers can collect the console on the same day as ordering.
The PS5 consoles are selling well and marked as in-demand on the Argos website, so you might want to check stocks at your local store before ordering.
Of course, Argos also delivers (and even does same day delivery for certain items), although you will have to pay a small delivery fee.
If you’re looking for some additional accessories to complement your new purchase, then Argos is offering discounts on various bundles.
If you purchase a PS5, you can get a Venom LED stand for £15, or the Venom Charging Dock and headset hook for an additional £10.

In terms of what’s in the box, PlayStation 5 consoles come with Sony’s superb DualSense controller, which features advanced haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and a touch panel.
You’ll also be able to download Astro’s Playroom for free, which serves as a showcase for the PlayStation 5’s technical prowess and the DualSense controller’s unique features.
Following the announcement of a new Astro Bot game launching later this year, Astro’s Playroom has just been updated with new content and Trophies.
Speaking of Astro Bot, the upcoming sequel will be available for the PS5 this September.
The game will contain more than 50 planets and over 80 levels, not to mention around 150 PlayStation heroes to discover.
The only downside is that the new Astro Bot game won’t be playable on PSVR 2, despite the original launching exclusively for the original PlayStation VR headset.
Speaking of PSVR 2, Argos is also selling the virtual reality headset for the reduced price of £439.99.
Again, this deal is only available until June 12, so hurry if you want to grab the high-tech virtual reality device.
There’s actually never been a better time to grab the PSVR 2, especially after Sony announced plans to bring Steam VR support to the device.
