Sony is getting ready to announce the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for November 2024, just days after Ghostwire Tokyo and Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 joined the Essentials tier.
The next batch of PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games will be revealed on the afternoon of November 13. Subscribers will be able to download and play the games the following week, on the morning of November 19.
The Premium line-up will reportedly feature a selection of old-school God of War games, as well as Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain.
However, it’s the PS Plus Extra line-up that the majority of subscribers will be interested in. Typically consisting of around ten PS4 and PS5 games, fans have been attempting to predict the PlayStation Plus Extra games ahead of the official reveal.
If the predictions are anything to go by, November could be a big month for PlayStation Plus members.
Indeed, in the monthly predictions thread over on Reddit, there are multiple picks for Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
Seen as a return to the series’ roots, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is more of a focused experience compared to the more bloated recent efforts, featuring a greater emphasis on platforming and stealth instead of RPG elements.
Speaking of Ubisoft games, there are lots of picks for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, as well as The Crew Motorfest and Avatar Frontiers of Pandora.
Other popular picks include Atomic Heart, Forspoken, Hades and Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League. It certainly feels like a case of when and not if these games will join the PS Plus Extra line-up.
You also have picks for first-party games, most notably for God of War Ragnarok. Others believe Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 could join PS Plus Extra in November.
One fan suggests GTA 5 could make another appearance on PS Plus Extra, while others think Hogwarts Legacy will finally make its debut on the service alongside Lies of P.
Other high-profile predictions include Mortal Kombat 1, Final Fantasy 16, Street Fighter 6, Lords of the Fallen, Cyberpunk 2077, Dark Souls Remastered and Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Halloween may be behind us, but that hasn’t stopped subscribers from predicting the inclusion of horror games such as Aliens Dark Descent, Dying Light 2, Alan Wake 2 (seems unlikely), Resident Evil Village and Scorn.
Elsewhere, there are a surprising number of predictions for Broforce, as well as lots for Atlas Fallen, the Persona series and any number of games from the Yakuza/Like a Dragon franchise. The latter would make sense following the recent launch of the TV show.
Some of the more realistic choices include Art of Rally, Harold Halibut (which just joined Game Pass), Lost in Random, Unsighted, The Stanley Parable, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered and EA WRC.
That’s on top of games such as Jusant, Everspace 2, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, Cocoon and Viewfinder – the latter of which has become a regular fixture in the predictions thread.
Then there are games like Planet Zoo, Chants of Sennaar, Vampire Survivors, Robocop Rogue City and The Pathless, which could all realistically come to PS Plus Extra at some point.
Speaking of realistic picks, Capcom’s Exoprimal definitely feels like a PS Plus Extra game waiting to happen. The only thing that makes me think November won’t be the time for a PS Plus debut is the fact that it’s currently on sale until November 22.
Daily Express will be back with the full list of new PS Plus Extra and Premium games on the afternoon of November 13.
