Princess Kate was a vision of pure class and elegance as she stepped out for her highest-profile appearance of the year on Tuesday (December 3) for the Qatar state visit. Donning a beautiful burgundy ensemble, she accessorised with £20,000 earrings in honour of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
She was joined by her husband, Prince William and took part in a Ceremonial Welcome. The Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wife Sheikha Jawaher were greeted by a spectacular Horse Guards Parade.
They were then formally welcomed by King Charles at the Royal Pavilion, before heading to a private lunch. During the evening the guests of honour were treated to a glitzy star-studded banquet.
However, due to the Princess of Wales, 42, recently completing chemotherapy treatment for an unspecified cancer, she did not attend the evening engagement. Kate missed out on her tiara moment, but Duchess Sophie stepped in sporting the Aquamarine necklace tiara.
The Princess of Wales wowed fans with her exquisite jewellery but their price tag is hefty. If you would like to get Princess Kate’s look for less then you may want to consider Monica Vinader’s Heirloom Baroque Pearl Earrings.

Royal onlookers could not keep their eyes off Princess Kate’s huge sparklers, as statement jewellery has been a huge hit this winter.

While another chimed in and agreed, writing: “So lovely how she honours the late Queen.. I LOVE the jewellery.”
Meanwhile a third added: “Can’t go wrong with burgundy, stunning and classy.” The 42-year-old decided to honour the late Queen Elizabeth by wearing her exquisite Bahrain pearl drop earrings.
Princess Kate has worn Monica Vinader since 2019, and the brand prides itself on using eco-friendly materials and minimizing their impact on the environment.
