Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales are reportedly expanding their work into the United States.

The couple made a major step towards growing their work in the US following Princess Kate’s return to work after cancer treatment.

British tabloid Mirror reported the couple recently completed and submitted an important official document to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

It is understood the lodging of the paperwork is in preparation for launching their Royal Foundation charity in the US.

The trademark also includes “healthcare services relating to mental health,” which may overlap with Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’s foundation Archewell.

“Meghan was quite shocked when she found out that Kate and William plan to do more work in America after trademarking their foundation’s brand with authorities,” a source told OK! magazine.

“Although they have made a couple of trips to the US, it’s not really part of their territory and now Meghan feels they could be moving in on her turf.”

Archewell Foundation’s slogan is “Show Up, Do Good,” with a “core belief that mental health and our collective wellbeing are paramount”.
