Premium outdoor oven brand Gozney has teamed up with US chef and forager Brad Leone to produce a limited-edition version of its award-winning portable pizza oven Roccbox.
The forest green-coloured oven allows adventurous Australians to cook restaurant-worthy pizza anywhere from the beach to a mountain top in just 60 seconds.
It launched on the Gozney website on September 6 and is available to purchase for $799 while stocks last.

YouTube sensation Brad Leone has been taking Roccbox along on his culinary expeditions for years, from fly fishing on the rivers of Wyoming to oyster shucking on the banks of Rhode Island.
I decided to take the Roccbox on the road in early September when I went camping at Dunphy’s Campground, a fairly remote area of the Blue Mountains.
On this particular weekend, it was a very chilly 0 degrees Celsius at night.
So I thought pizza making would be the perfect way to stay warm (alongside thermal layers, a down jacket and boots).
Not only could we fit all of the equipment seamlessly in our SUV alongside the tent, outdoor chairs, clothes and 90 litres of water, but the retractable legs, detachable burner, and sleek design made it easy to pick up and move at a moment’s notice.
The Roccbox has a 19mm thick stone floor and dense layers of insulation designed with restaurant oven proportions, so you can cook pizza after pizza without a drop in temperature.
On this occasion we only needed to make two – topped with lashings of cheese, chorizo, capsicum and mushrooms galore.
We cheated on the dough and bought them ready-made for ease but I’m excited to trial it from start to finish at home.
The oven comfortably fits on our balcony table now, so we’ll be making plenty more pizzas as the longer days kick in.
The kit comes with everything you need to test the temperature, pick up and take out the pizza.
But it’s worth noting you’ll need a gas bottle to attach to it with a special regulator.
You can read more about that here.
The Roccbox is dual-fuel and includes a propane burner, with the option to add a wood-fire burner so you can pick between the convenience of gas, or the romanticism of wood fired cooking.
Each model comes with a Placement Peel free of charge, an essential tool that enables you to take the pizza straight from stone to plate.
It also makes you feel like a professional.
While the Roccbox is not light, it’s light enough that I could comfortably carry it from the car to our tent without straining.
It sure beats making sandwiches for dinner when you’re on the road.
