Popular Queensland juice brand HRVST St suddenly closes

Popular juice brand HRVST St and its associated distribution arm Real Friends Food and Drink Supply have closed suddenly, with the Queensland company’s owners saying their “hearts are ripped into pieces”.

Founded in 2015 and based in Brisbane, the brand’s juices are sold in restaurants, cafés and grocers — including popular Brisbane chains such as Botanica Real Food, Nodo Donuts and Fonzie Abbott.

The juices were sold in Queensland, NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.

“This is not something we ever wanted to happen but it is with tears in our eyes and lumps in our throats, time to say goodbye,” owners Alyse Filipuzzi and Allie Harris said in a statement shared on the company’s Instagram feed.

Filipuzzi and Harris said the closure “all happened extremely fast” after the liquidator “pulled the pin” last Tuesday afternoon.

The duo thanked those who supported them, saying: “We will forever be grateful for that along with the friendships we have built. Thank you for your loyalty and sticking by us even through tough times.”

7NEWS understands stock of the popular juices is still available in stores.

Nodo Donuts commented on the post, saying: “It’s been an absolute pleasure working with you over the years!”

“You should be so proud of everything you achieved! Built an incredible brand and business.”

“Wow. End of a f****** incredible era,” another person commented. “Massive love and hugs to you wonderful humans.”

Andrew Weatherley from WCT Advisory has been appointed liquidator.
