Shoppers are full of praise for the ‘very comfortable’ sandals, with one person saying they ‘walked and danced miles in them’.
Next’s Gladiator Chunky Platform Sandals cost £38 and come in three colours – black, pale pink and white. They are available in sizes three to nine, including half sizes and wide fit options.
The textured sandals have an adjustable buckle strap across the heels to ensure a secure fit and have a sculpted footbed for extra comfort. They have a chunky rubber platform outsole giving the wearer some height for an on-trend look.
Thanks to the versatility of the sandals, they would look great with any outfit. Pair them with a dress, maxi skirt or wide leg trousers for a cool summer look.
Many Next shoppers have already snapped up the gladiator sandals, with them receiving an average rating of 4.5 out of five. One delighted customer said: “Great pair of sandals. Really comfy, soft material, not too bulky and looks super stylish.”

One shopper, however, had a slight issue with the weight of the sandals to begin with, but they still rated them five stars. They explained: “I love them. They are a lovely material, feel well made, so comfy to walk in and I’ve had no rubbing from them at all.
“They are fairly heavy at first, but you soon get used to them and I appreciate the extra height it gives me, being 5’1. Great for the beach and festivals, as they’re that little bit more off the ground. I’ve had some lovely comments on them and would recommend them.”
