The leading SUV maker had opened bookings for the latest Nexon versions on September 4 with a token amount of Rs 21,000.

Facelifted Nexon, which is one of the leading SUVs in the industry, boasts to have a sleeker exterior design and also an upgraded interior. Inspired by the Tata Curvv concept, the exterior transformation includes revamped DRLs, headlights, and front fascia. The Tata Motors product, in its upgrade, has got a revised front bumper housing bi-functional LED headlamps along with a new wheel design.
Meanwhile, to complete the look, the car has been given a new bumper design at the rear and connected tail lamps.
About the latest Nexon EV, which has also undergone extensive changes with front and rear sections revamped entirely. Like the previous generation of Nexon and its EV variant, the brand new and upgraded ICE Nexon and Nexon.ev will get similar design and at the same time the two passenger vehicles will look more distinct due to addition of features on the EV version, for instance the end-to-end LED DRL.
As for the interiors, which are similar for the Nexon duo, the facelift includes a two-spoke steering wheel, touch-operated FATC panel, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, height-adjustable front seats, ventilated seats, wireless charging, sunroof, rear AC vents, connected car technology, and more.
In an attempt to add a premium quotient to the car, the EV version has a bigger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The car is equipped with maximum safety features including six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, reverse camera, front parking sensors, ISOFIX seat anchors, 3-point seatbelts for all occupants, electronic stability control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, and more.
Engines and variants
The Nexon facelift has retained its 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and 1.5-litre diesel engine options. While the petrol variant provides with four transmission options – a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, which is a new introduction, with paddle shifters and generates 120 hp and 170 Nm of peak torque. The diesel engine, with 115hp, 260 Nm, is paried with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT.
The Nexon.ev facelift LR variant can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 8.9 seconds and achieve an electronically limited top speed of 150 kmph, Tata Motors claims. Offering three driving modes, that is, Eco, City, and Sport, Nexon facelift is here to further solidify the company’s portfolio.
Powered by a 30 kWh battery, the Tata Nexon.ev Medium Range (MR) boasts to deliver an ARAI-certified range of 325 km. However, the Long Range (LR) variant uses a larger 40.5 kWh battery, and extends the ARAI-certified range to 465 km.
