CHICAGO, IL (October 17, 2024) – NewsNation today announced that it will host a town hall with U.S. Senator J.D. Vance, Republican nominee for Vice President, on Thursday, October 24th at 8 p.m. ET.  The town hall will be live streamed exclusively on social media platform X. Moderated by Chris Cuomo, the one-hour town hall will originate from the Detroit, Michigan, metropolitan area. “We are honored to bring viewers a town hall with the Vice Presidential nominee for the Republican ticket,” said Cherie Grzech, President of News and Politics. “In this critical election year, the greater the number of opportunities for voters to hear directly from the candidates, the better it is for everyone.”

Following the event, the network will present a special two-hour edition of CUOMO at 9 p.m. ET.  An encore presentation of the town hall will air later that evening at 11 p.m. ET.
