Naturewings Holidays shares debut with 28% premium on BSE SME platform

The shares of Naturewings Holidays debuted on the BSE SME platform with a premium of 28.4% on Tuesday. The stock listed at Rs 95 as against an issue price of Rs 74.

Ahead of the listing, the company’s shares traded at a premium of 40% to the issue price in the grey market.

The IPO, which was completely a fresh equity sale of 9.5 lakh shares received strong response from investors with an overall subscription of 300 times at close.

The net proceeds from the public offer will be used for working capital requirements, marketing and business promotions and general corporate purposes.

Incorporated in 2018, Naturewings Holidays is a tourism company with primary focus being the entire Himalayan destination across India, Nepal and Bhutan. The company offers specialised and curated holiday packages for leisure travellers visiting the Himalayan ranges.

It provides end to end travel solutions including land and air bookings, hotel bookings, in-transit arrangements, local sightseeing and such other destination management services. The company designs travel packages for both individuals and groups traveling to the Himalayan destinations.

Naturewings is one among the few Indian companies registered with the Tourism Council of Bhutan. The company recently started its international division to offer services on international destinations.

As of March 2024, the company has access to over 750 hotels across Bhutan, Nepal, North East, Sikkim-Darjeeling and Kashmir-Ladakh in the Himalayan Ranges and in various international destinations.

“As per the prevailing market trends, there is growing demand for international packages and we are focussing on the untapped international flexible customized trips,” the company said.

With a total area of 3,287,263 sq km extending from the snow-covered Himalayan heights to the tropical rain forests of the south, India has a rich cultural and historical heritage, variety in ecology, terrains and places of natural beauty spread across the country.

For the year ended March 2024, the company clocked total revenues of Rs 21.9 crore and net profit of Rs 1.12 crore.
