1. What is your favorite festive ritual?
I love staying home and lighting my festive candle from Greeks Bearing Gifts—it has notes of clove, honey, and cinnamon. I put on some Christmas jazz while my dad and I decorate a vintage wooden model sailing boat with fairy lights—we built it together when I was little.
2. What’s the perfect gift to surprise your closest friend?

3. What’s the best gift you have received in recent years?
The greatest gift of all is having someone’s real presence, energy, and care. A boyfriend once surprised me with roses and cake at the airport—it didn’t cost the earth, but it meant everything.
4. It’s not the festive season without a glamorous party: What item of clothing (or accessory) is sure to make you stand out from the crowd?
I love repurposing gift-wrapping ribbons to use in my hair, as belts, or necklaces—and pairing velvet opera gloves with a cute, rhinestone bag.
5. Lastly, what’s the one beauty item that speaks to your holiday season allure?
With all the partying, it’s easy to feel and look tired.
