1. What is your favorite festive ritual?
I love candles, especially at this time of year—my favorite brand is Diptyque.
2. What’s the perfect gift to surprise your closest friend?
I love that Dior offers engraving on their perfume and lipsticks—that’s my go-to for gifts.
3. What’s the best gift you have received in recent years?
I’m a believer in experiences over things, and for my recent birthday, my husband gifted me a weekend away in NYC—including Forces of Fashion at the Vogue HQ, where I met so many of my idols—I still can’t get over Anna Wintour and Vera Wang! And I got a Vogue notebook signed by Linda Evangelista.
4. It’s not the festive season without a glamorous party: What item of clothing (or accessory) is sure to make you stand out from the crowd?
I’ve had this emerald Thai silk couture dress for more than 15 years, and after all this time— half of which has been spent in motherhood—it still fits perfectly. Now that’s a testament to the timelessness of couture!
5. Lastly, what’s the one beauty item that speaks to your holiday season allure?
