(The Hill) — Former first lady Melania Trump is slated to appear on Fox News this week as she promotes a new book.
The interview, scheduled to air Thursday during Fox’s flagship morning news and talk program, will be conducted by co-host Ainsley Earhardt and will focus on topics including the new book, “the Trump campaign’s strategy in the remaining six weeks until the election, the two assassination attempts on her husband and other news of the day,” the outlet said.
The network will also present an extended version of the interview to be available the same day on its streaming service, Fox Nation.
The sit-down will be the first in which the former first lady has participated during the past two years and comes as her husband is locked in a closely-contested election with Vice President Kamala Harris.
Former President Donald Trump has, in recent months, relentlessly attacked Fox News over its coverage of him, though the network features a slew of pundits and hosts who are vocally supportive of him.
The former president has routinely appeared on the channel, most recently appearing in studio with comedian Greg Gutfeld for an episode that netted what the network said last week was the show’s highest rating since launch.
