Meghan McCain Calls Hunter Biden A ‘Nepo Baby’ After Pardon

Meghan McCain lashed out at Democrats on Monday morning following President Joe Biden’s decision to pardon his son, Hunter Biden.

McCain, the daughter of the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), derided Hunter Biden as a “nepo baby” in a post on X, formerly called Twitter, where she wrote, “No one is above the law except the Presidents nepo baby is a helluva parting message for democrats.”

Meghan McCain, an outspoken critic of both Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump, was part of a bipartisan chorus of criticism that was unleashed following the president’s weekend announcement.

Trump questioned Biden’s move in a post on Truth Social, where he wrote, “Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years? Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!”

Despite previously reassuring people he had no plans to issue his son amnesty over a slate of federal gun and tax charges, Biden surprised the public by pardoning his legally embattled son at the tail end of Thanksgiving weekend.

In a statement announcing his decision, the president accused his political enemies of “selectively and unfairly” going after his youngest son.

“Here’s the truth: I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice,” the departing Democrat said.

“I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision,” his statement concluded.
