Meghan Markle spotted out and about carrying keychain with telling 4-word mantra | Royal | News

Meghan Markle was spotted out and about in California and she sported a very telling new accessory.

In new pictures obtained by People magazine, the Duchess of Sussex can be seen leaving Godmothers bookstore last Monday, September 2, with a rather telling new keychain.

A few days later, Meghan attended the bookstore’s opening party on Friday alongside Prince Harry and a panel discussion the following day.

The new snaps show Meghan dressed casually in dark buttoned trousers, a navy oversized jumper and a straw hat.

She also wears a dainty bracelet along with her beloved Juste un Clou necklace and black Rayban aviators.

But along with her black purse and phone, Meghan is also seen carrying a brand-new leather keychain charm.

The Match Book Charm by Anya Hindmarch retails at £195 and resembles a real-life matchbook with the mantra “Take what you need” featuring prominently on the outside.

The website’s description says: “Make your bag your own with this whimsical leather matchbook charm. Clip it to the outside of your bag or use as a key ring.”

Its interior features eight individually named “matches” that say “Hugs, Love, A hand, Calm, A friend, Patience, A smile, An ear”.

On Saturday, Meghan thanked Godmothers founders Jennifer Rudolph Walsh and Victoria Jackson for “not just creating the space, but for holding the space for so many people to feel seen through the pages, either in laughter, in grief, in feeling less alone.”

She wore an all-black sleeveless jumpsuit by Club Monaco (£315) and dainty jewellery while she kept hair away from her face by tieing it in a low ponytail.

The previous day, she had shown up in a cream ensemble by Ralph Lauren.
