A Victoria’s Secret shopper was injured because of an “inconspicuously placed” display at the chain’s flagship store on Fifth Ave., the accuser said in a lawsuit.

Steven J. Goodman, of Parkland, Fla., was visiting New York City on Nov. 15 when he alleges he sustained “serious” injuries because of the “negligently” placed display, which was “above the staircase and handrail,” he said in court papers.
Goodman, 66, was hospitalized after the mishap and said the store was aware of the “dangerous, and trap-like condition.”
He claims he required “extensive medical treatment” and will need additional care in the future.
Goodman is the Chief Executive Officer of EvA Home Health Solutions, which operates home health care companies across Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties, according to the company website.
His first job was as a sales and marketing executive with Xerox.
The suit — which names Victoria’s Secret & Co. as defendant — seeks unspecified damages.
Goodman’s attorney declined to comment, per reports, and Victoria’s Secret reps did not return messages.
