“It is not for us. It is not for fans. Please have some respect and stay away,” another user wrote.

“Just a reminder that his funeral is not a public event and it’s not right to go there. It’s important to remember that,” added a third.

The Payne family released a short statement following his death, describing him as kind, funny, and brave.

“We are heartbroken. Liam will forever live in our hearts, and we’ll remember him for his kind, funny, and brave soul.”

Payne died on October 4 after falling from a third-floor balcony at the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The singer had been in the country with his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, and was seen attending Niall Horan’s concert two days earlier.

Buenos Aires police said Payne’s hotel room was found in “complete disarray” with broken items, clonazepam, energy supplements, and alcohol.

A whiskey bottle, phone, and lighter were recovered from the hotel courtyard where his body was found.

An initial autopsy revealed fatal traumatic injuries caused by the fall.

Police were responding to a call from a hotel manager, who reported an “aggressive man under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”

The manager can be heard in the 911 recording saying Payne was “destroying the entire room” and expressing concern about the balcony.

Payne, who rose to fame as a member of One Direction, leaves behind a son and a legacy that touched fans around the world.
