LaPointe Pre-Fall 2025 Collection | Vogue

LaPointe will be celebrating its 15th anniversary next year, and in preparation, Sally LaPointe has expanded her showroom to one double in size. Despite the chaos that might come from being a fast-growing company (in the past year they’ve made several C-suite appointments), the designer is reminding herself to take a second to chill.

For pre-fall she kept her best-selling basics—well at least basic for LaPointe—like mesh tops, satin pants, and skin-tight jersey dresses and updated them in new colors including rich burgundy, deep sea blue, and chocolate brown to match the vibe of the season. LaPointe also stepped out of her comfort zone, exploring new intricate bead and sequin work embroideries which turned her mesh pieces into statements that brought to mind a gymnast’s leotard. And while in the past the designer had stayed away from using leather in her collections, a few pieces, including a beige leather trench with a subtle print and a matching pair of pants will be made in the material.

In anticipation of her anniversary, the designer introduced the brand’s first-ever floral print. To give it the LaPointe effect, she used bright and bold blooms and printed them on top of a shiny black jersey dress.
