Kyle Sandilands makes baby confession live on-air

Radio host Kyle Sandilands has revealed he and his wife Tegan Sandilands are thinking of growing their family.

Ahead of their son Otto’s second birthday, the 52-year-old shared his thoughts while interviewing Australian model and business owner Miranda Kerr.

The two were talking about Kerr’s growing family after she welcomed her fourth son Pierre in February — her third child with husband Evan Spiegel.

“Do you think I should have another baby because I only have the one?” he asked on the Kyle and Jackie O Show.

Kerr was quick to tell him yes before he added, “I have to ask because some people say three kids is the marriage killer”.

Sandilands’ first child Otto was born on August 11, 2022.

Just months after his birth, Sandilands was already discussing expanding their family.

“We did talk about another one, possibly we started talking about that on the weekend,” he told co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson in October 2022.

“Ah two hey, that might be nice, just do it quickly back to back,” advised Henderson, who has a daughter of her own.

“Nah,” Sandilands uttered.

“She’s breezed through it, she can do it,” Henderson said of his then-fiancee’s pregnancy and recovery.

Sandilands said he had to remind his partner that just because Otto has “been easy” does not mean the second child will be.

Sandilands and Tegan were married in April 2023.

They have long since referred to Otto as a “unicorn baby,” easily falling asleep and behaving.

Otto celebrated his first birthday in August 2023 with a party worth $25,000.

“It’s only $25,000,” Sandilands said on his radio show in August.

“It’s a watered-down type of party.”

Sandilands also noted that the $25,000 didn’t include other sundry party supplies that his wife had already bought.

“Like the lollies, the bonbonniere, and the plates and all these weird tablecloths … these are eight-foot tablecloths,” he said.

The over-the-top party was held at their family home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, with a theme of Otto’s Jungle.
