“I have seen this Kookai, SKIMS dupe dress from Kmart all over my For You page, so I’m gonna go and find one,” the customer said in her video.

After filming herself purchasing one of the dresses at her local store, the shopper – who uses the handle @tahrnia – revealed how she was stopped by another customer after picking up the item from the rack.

“So that was kind of carnage,” she said. “There was one Size 8 left and this girl saw me grab it.

“And she goes, ‘Oh, is that a Size 8?’ And I said ‘Yeah’. And she’s like, ‘You might fit a size 10 better.’”

Stunned, she continued: “One, not having a dig at Size 10s or anything, there’s nothing wrong with that – I can fit a Size 10.

“But like, what the f***?! Get your own dress, you little rat.”

The shopper went on to try on the dress in her video, showing that the dress fit perfectly.

“Stop!” she said. “Twenty-five f***ing bucks, b**** – run!”

The exchange with the other customer left many stunned.

“What the! Who says that to someone? Eight is perfect for you!” said one.

Another added: “Girl, the way she tried to scam you by body shaming you.”

A third wrote: “Wow, that other shopper was brutal.”

One more responded: “Looks so good on you. Glad you didn’t fall for her trick. The nerve of some people.”

Said another: “The things girls will say. And also, she was wrong – Size 8 fits you like a glove.”

The shopper who shared the video agreed it was careless behaviour from the other customer.

“I honestly think she just wanted the last size 8,” she responded to one social media user.

She later added: “For all she knows I could have been really struggling with my body image.”
