Oh my God, I am totally buggin’ after seeing Kim Kardashian and North West‘s Halloween costume, a pitch-perfect ode to Clueless.
Kardashian frequently pays homage to pop culture icons of the past come Halloween, so I was waiting with bated breath to see what her 2023 look would be — and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The Skims founder transformed herself into Cher Horowitz from the ‘90s classic with buttery blonde hair reminiscent of Alicia Silverstone’s hair in the movie, worn in the same easygoing classic blowout and parted to one side. A French manicure, nude lips and a yellow checkered suit with a pleated miniskirt finished off her Cher-inspired ensemble.
But that’s not all! Kardashian’s eldest child, daughter North West, effortlessly slipped into Dionne’s knee socks and heels to play the role of Cher’s BFF for the occasion. West wore a large-brimmed hat over her braids a la Stacey Dash’s character in the film. Kardashian wore minimal makeup for her Cher look, only a dusting of eye shadow and lots of mascara, while West skipped makeup and a manicure entirely. (She is only 10 years old, after all.) The two missed absolutely zero details in their costuming and props; the photo set includes Clueless references like mini backpacks, knee socks and even a Jeep just like the one Cher tries to drive in the movie.
