North West didn’t hold back any punches when asked about her mom Kim Kardashian’s cooking — or lack thereof.
During a conversation with Interview magazine, the reality star sat down for a Q&A with her eldest daughter, North West, and things took a hilarious turn when Kardashian asked the notoriously candid child to critique her culinary skills.
“Okay, serious question. How is my cooking?” the Skims founder asked in the interview, published on Oct. 11.
North delivered a no-holds-barred answer: “You haven’t cooked for us in a long time. Last time you cooked was two Halloweens ago.”
The 11-year-old then shared that the meal her mom made was macaroni and cheese.
“And fried chicken and cornbread,” Kardashian said. “I’m a one-trick pony. Is that one meal good?”
North approved of the meal, noting it was “good.”
She also said that her mom is “really good” at serving up “cucumbers and salt,” making Kardashian an ironic polar opposite to sister Kendall Jenner and her viral struggle to simply cut a cucumber.
Kardashian shares four children — North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm — with ex-husband Ye, the artist formally known as Kanye West.
North has kept it real with her mom in the past.
During an episode of “The Kardashians” that aired last November, she gave Kardashian some unfiltered fashion advice during a fitting for her 2024 Met Gala ensemble.
“It could be just a little bit better,” North said of her mom’s outfit, prompting the media personality to explain that being blunt is North’s “vibe” before asking her to “be easy on me today.”

“I am,” the preteen replied. “I’m not going to lie. I won’t say it at all if you don’t want me to. I’m not going to lie.”
“There’s a way to be honest and not hurt people’s feelings, so I want you to learn that,” Kardashian responded. “Because there’s a way to say, ‘You know, I might not love that.’”
