While Kendall Jenner has made her mark in the modeling and reality television worlds, we shouldn’t forget her Olympic parentage in Caitlin Jenner, a gold medal-winning decathlete. Of course, Kendall has proved her own athleticism through her horseback riding, but it’s also just in her DNA. “I’m literally built as an athlete,” she told her sisters on an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. “Every blood test I’ve ever done has said I’m, like, over the normal limit of athleticness.”
Once asked by Andy Cohen what she would do if she weren’t a model, Jenner replied, “Honestly, I think I’d probably be in the Olympics or going to the Olympics for horseback riding.” And now, that dream is coming true—if perhaps in a different capacity than Jenner imagined. This week, the model joined the long list of celebrity supporters at the 2024 Olympics, including the likes of Natalie Portman, Nicole Kidman, and Ariana Grande.
Seated near French soccer legend Zinedine Zidane at the women’s all-around gymnastics final on Thursday, Jenner cheered on Team USA decked out in appropriately patriotic gear, donning a patch-laden Ralph Lauren Polo zip-up—which will be worn by flag-bearers at the closing ceremony—along with a matching baseball cap. The rest of the outfit, however, was quintessential Jenner: a pair of straight-legged blue jeans and black loafers from The Row. No matter what, Kendall Jenner will do the Olympics her way.
