Kellie Finlayson has shared a heartbreaking post amid her stage four cancer battle.
The wife of Port Adelaide star Jeremy Finlayson posted a teary picture of herself to Instagram on Tuesday, detailing the struggles of living with a terminal illness.
“For those wondering if I ever cry… yes I do,” Kellie said.

“Not often and usually due to the collateral that comes with a terminal diagnosis. But yes, I am human, some days do get the best of me and I’m a prisoner to my own thoughts.”
The 28-year-old said she only shared about five per cent of her life on social media and there was more happening behind the scenes that many don’t know about.
“I take 10 steps forward one day and 12 steps back the next,” she said.
“I am positive and grateful to be alive, but some days remind me that this is so far from the life I’d created in my mind as a teenager.
“Sh*t sucks sometimes. And it feels isolating, I too feel alone, but I know I’m not.”
Finlayson was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2021 and revealed in July that the disease was growing again.
Doctors told her she would need to commence chemotherapy immediately to slow the spread.
She started treatment a month later.
The power couple — who share a three-year-old daughter — have been forced to sell their forever home in Adelaide’s northwest so they can move to a more suitable location for her ongoing treatment.
They announced in late August that they would need to find a rental with more space to accommodate for her in-home care.
