Keke Palmer Is Giving Vintage Pinup In Her New Bangs—See the Photos

Bangs can truly change your entire look in just a few minutes. No matter which style you choose—straight-across, baby, curtain, choppy—there’s nothing like fringe to freshen things up in a flash. Just ask Keke Palmer, who transformed into a vintage pinup for a recent night out thanks to a set of wispy, brow-length bangs.

The multi-hyphenate donned the bangs to see Lil’ Kim perform, looking glam in a denim tank dress with cutouts and long, loose bombshell waves flowing down her shoulders to mid-back, the ideal base style to pair with said retro bangs. The bangs themselves were reminiscent of both the ‘50s Bettie Page-style pinup girl baby bang and the wispy fringe of the ’90s, uniting the two decades in the most gorgeous way. They hit right at the arch of Palmer’s brows and were slightly curled under for a sweet, flirty finish. Palmer’s go-to hairstylist Lace Assassin was behind the throwback-inspired look and deemed the fringe “babydoll bangs.”

Makeup artist Cherish Brooke Hill applied a shimmery bronze shadow all the way up to Palmer’s brow and smoked out her lashline, applying a lighter, champagne-colored shade to the inner corners and finishing with liner and thick, full, fluttery lashes, plus strawberry pink blush and a matching glossy lip.

Palmer’s followers were obsessed with the entire vibe and her comment section was a sea of fire and heart-eye emojis. “The prettiest,” wrote Palmer’s friend SZA, who will soon be starring in a buddy comedy with her. “One thing about KeKe, she NEVER misses when it comes to her outfits, her hairstyles, her looks & her style,” wrote a follower. “It’s giving life-size Barbie,” added another. “’Should I get bangs now?’- everywoman watching this,” commented another, capturing our feelings exactly.
