Joe Rogan Endorses Donald Trump

Podcaster Joe Rogan on Monday announced he is endorsing Donald Trump in the 2024 election, while praising Elon Musk for making a good case for supporting the former president.

Rogan’s announcement came on the eve of Election Day and coincided with the release of his interview with Musk for his podcast “The Joe Rogan experience.”

“If it wasn’t for [Musk] we’d be fucked,” Rogan wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.”

“For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump,” he added.

The great and powerful @elonmusk.

Trump welcomed the news, falsely telling the audience at his Pittsburgh rally that Rogan hasn’t issued presidential endorsements in the past.

“He’s never done this before,” Trump said. “Thank you, Joe. That’s so nice.”

Rogan endorsed then-presidential candidate Bernie Sanders in 2020.

Earlier in the election cycle, Rogan said he was a “fan” of independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., calling him “the only candidate that makes sense to me.”

While Rogan clarified his statement about Kennedy wasn’t meant as an endorsement, Trump still lashed out at him.

“It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring???” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Kennedy, who dropped out of the race in August, has since endorsed Trump.

In the final weeks of the race, Rogan interviewed both Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio).

While he was reportedly in talks with Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign about hosting her on his show, the interview did not materialize. Rogan said her team had proposed he travel to meet Harris for a one-hour sit-down, which he suggested was not worth making the trip for.

“I strongly feel the best way to do it is in the studio in Austin,” he said at the time. “My sincere wish is to just have a nice conversation and get to know her as a human being.”

Rogan’s show is one of the most-listened-to podcasts in the U.S. and has a large male audience, a demographic both campaigns have been hoping to reach in the election.
