Jennifer Lawrence Is Also Obsessed With ‘Challengers’

Stars—they’re just like us! They pump their own gas, buy their own groceries, and they’re also obsessed with Challengers. Today, Jennifer Lawrence took that infatuation to the next level.

The actor donned the film’s instantly iconic “I Told Ya” T-shirt, which Tashi Duncan (Zendaya) and Patrick Zweig (Josh O’Connor) wear in the film. The heather gray tee with bold, in-your-face lettering was designed by Jonathan Anderson—who also served as the film’s costume designer—and is now sold by Loewe. (Should you feel so inclined, you can buy it straight for $330, or get a copycat for, like, $20.)

Lawrence smartened up her casual, Luca Guadagnino-sponsored tee by tucking it into a pair of flowing black La Ligne trousers and black leather sandals. While the shirt may be Loewe, the actor showed her allegiance to Dior with her purse choice: a black Dior Saddlebag with the telltale gold “CD” hardware. She finished off her look with a pair of diamond stud earrings and rectangular tortoiseshell sunglasses. But the question remains: Is she Team Art or Team Patrick?

Lawrence isn’t the first celebrity to model the shirt. Zendaya donned the gray iteration during Challengers press, while O’Connor wore it printed on a white tuxedo shirt for the film’s London premiere. But with Jennifer Lawrence’s lowkey summery styling, we can’t help but wonder if she just created the outfit blueprint for the US Open. Watch this space…
