Van Der Beek, 47, who revealed last month that he was suffering from colorectal cancer, announced on the weekend that he’ll be selling collectible merchandise from his 1999 hit movie, Varsity Blues, to raise enough money to pay for his, and others’, treatment.

“Merch drop! Excited to celebrate the 25th anniversary of #VarsityBlues with a limited edition #4 Moxon jersey — each one personally autographed by me,” he wrote on Instagram. “Grab yours now at the link in my bio or head over to JVDB.Shop.

“100% of my net proceeds will go to families recovering from the financial burden of cancer (including my own). Order now & get a signed one in time for Christmas.”

Last month, Van Der Beek told People.com that he was battling Stage 3 colorectal cancer. The father of six, who’s been married to wife Kimberly since 2010, got the diagnosis after having a colonoscopy and decided to go public in an effort to save other people’s lives.

“The trickiest thing is there are so many unknowns with cancer,” he told People. “You think, ‘How do I fix this? Is this healing me? Is this hurting me? Is this working? Is it coming back?’ As someone who likes answers, not knowing is one of the hardest things.”

Van Der Beek played backup quarterback Jonathan “Mox” Moxon in teen comedy-drama Varsity Blues, which also starred Paul Walker, Scott Caan, Ali Larter and Jon Voight. He also played Dawson Leery for 122 episodes of Dawson’s Creek, which aired from 1998-2003.

Van Der Beek also appeared in CSI: Cyber for two seasons and Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 for 26 episodes.
