It's Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven: How to get a free drink (or treat)

SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KSWB) – Need a little extra refreshment on an especially hot summer day? 7-Eleven may be able to help.

On July 11 (7/11), 7-Eleven stores across the country are celebrating the company’s annual Slurpee Day, offering a free small Slurpee to customers at participating locations while supplies last.

All participating locations of Speedway and Stripes — both of which are owned by 7-Eleven’s parent company — will also be extending the same offer to guests.

“Slurpee Day is our annual celebration of 7-Eleven’s birthday and our iconic frozen drink; it’s a day of joy, community and good old-fashioned summer fun,” Marissa Jarratt, the executive vice president at 7-Eleven, Inc., said in a statement included with a press release.

This year’s celebration also includes an extra surprise for Slurpee-slurping guests: Customers who belong to the 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards programs can earn a coupon for a second free Slurpee (redeemable through the end of July), by scanning their rewards info at checkout.

More information is available at 7-Eleven’s official website.

For Slurpee Day 2024, 7-Eleven has also partnered with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to debut a special-edition cup designed by Nolan, a 7-year-old cancer survivor.

“The special edition Slurpee cup aims to bring awareness to Children`s Miracle Network Hospitals mission and raise support through in-store fundraising campaigns at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores across the country,” 7-Eleven explained.

Customers looking to find a 7-Eleven, Speedway or Stripes location can do so using the brand’s store locator tool.
