It’s About Time Rob Lowe Sat Front Row at Paris Fashion Week

There’s nothing better than an unexpected front-row guest during fashion week, and Rob Lowe took up the mantle for Stella McCartney’s spring 2025 show in Paris. Lowe joined the likes of Juliette Binoche, Greta Gerwig, Natalie Portman, Tom Daley, Maria Sharapova, and Lily Gladstone at McCartney’s open-air show, where attendees oohed and awed over cotton candy-esque jackets, gauzy draped dresses, and streetwear-inspired suiting.

Lowe opted for a gray-blue double-breasted suit with sharp lapels and even sharper shoulders. His baggy trousers featured a thick silver chain running down his leg. The actor kept the look casual with a pair of spotless white tennis shoes. But he stirred up some intrigue with what was beneath his suit: a white tank top emblazoned with the phrase “About Fucking Time!”

The titillating phrase—which also graced the hats on guests’ seats—came courtesy of McCartney’s partnership with PETA. As my colleague Mark Holgate wrote, “she and PETA have used the phrase to highlight their new-ish campaign around animal welfare, or the lack thereof.” Lowe wasn’t the only one to rep the bold statement: Barbara Palvin, Thomas Doherty, and Xochitl Gomez also defended the animals in style.

But, we must say, regarding a front-row appearance from Rob Lowe: it’s about fucking time!
