In Southampton, Marie-Chantal of Greece Fetes Her Collaboration With Mrs. Alice With a Lovely Supper

“Collaborating with Princess Marie-Chantal on our new pink and blue joyful Summer table has been a dream and a great honor. I’ve always admired her style and attention to detail,” Alice Naylor-Leyland, founder of Mrs. Alice, told Vogue, “And it was so kind of her to welcome this English girl so warmly to Southampton.”

Last night, at a private residence in Long Island village, Marie-Chantal of Greece hosted a dinner with Naylor-Leyland; on the (pristinely laid) tables were the fruits of their collaboration—whimsical, hand-painted crockery, rattan placemats, and more wares for perfect the alfresco meal.

“I love the mix of all the different materials and textures, from bamboo bud vases and rattan lanterns to hand-painted china. It is the small details that make a table so special, and I adore
the color palette of blue and pink,” said Marie-Chantal of Greece.

There to get a sneak peek at the forthcoming collection (launching online in August) were Lauren
Santo Domingo, Prince Pavlos of Greece, Olympia of Greece, Constantine of Greece, Achileas of Greece, Tory Burch, Rachel Zoe, Amy Griffin, Tabitha Simmons, Nacho Figueras, Delfina Blaquier, Caroline Sieber and Fritz von Westeholz.

Guests were treated to spicy Paloma and Margarita cocktails before a lobster salad starter followed by rare beef tenderloin and buttermilk chicken. All in all, the perfect summer meal enjoyed with the chicest accoutrements.
