Method dressing, thy name is Blake Lively!
Over the weekend, the actor continued her It Ends With Us press tour, showing off her seemingly unending roster of bright, outlandish floral prints. Lively wore not one, but ten outfits that—in some way or another—gestured toward her character, a florist named Lily Bloom.
Today, the actor stepped out in a vintage Christian Dior skirt suit from fall 1997, designed by none other than John Galliano. While it looks like a polka-dot pattern, upon further inspection, it’s actually printed with daisies. But she didn’t stay in the archival piece for long: soon after, she changed into a cropped leather jacket and long shorts painted with flora and fauna from Dauphinette, and then a leather midi skirt and cropped tank with the same design.
When it comes to her promotional wardrobe, Lively has used the opportunity to spotlight both household names and small designers. She’s displayed a particular fondness for Dauphinette, which has dressed the actor for several outings. After wearing an ostrich feather-festooned sheath dress for the launch of her haircare brand, Blake Brown, she donned a beaded minidress and a multicolored overcoat, which she accessorized with a mushroom purse fit for a fairy. A few days later, on August 3, she wore the label again when she opted for a hot pink minidress with a vest and belt made of flowers encased in resin. She kept warm in the sweltering New York City humidity with a matching overcoat embroidered with a sweet floral motif.
But Lively is also putting her longstanding relationships with top houses to work. For one outing, she wore a sky-blue Chanel tee printed with white flowers, which she paired with blue straight-legged pants with groovy navy florals. Never one to forget an accessory, she added a rhinestone-studded rose purse. She also turned to her friends at Versace for help, wearing a red floral minidress and matching yellow tights from the resort 2025 collection, and a sheer crystal flower top and embroidered jeans over a pale pink bra and underwear set.
