Online marketplace Poshmark — where new and used fashion, as well as makeup, electronics and pet accessories can be bought and sold — will no longer be accessible for users in Australia, the UK or India from next month.
The North American business’s exit from the Australian market comes just two years after it entered in 2021, and customers with store credit now have just one day to redeem it.
The company with 80 million users across its global markets described the move as a “difficult decision” but said it was made to “drive meaningful growth in its core markets of the United States and Canada”.

Shoppers in Australia, the UK and India will have until November 1 to access their accounts, before they are unable to log in to the website and the app, Poshmark confirmed.
“Any remaining Posh Credit will expire after this date,” it said.
Sellers with a redeemable balance will also have until then to ensure any funds are transferred to their bank or PayPal account.
“Redemptions typically take one to three business days, and we recommend redeeming your balance at your earliest convenience,” Poshmark said.
Sales reports generated by the business for sellers, which may be necessary for tax purposes, will also no longer be accessible from November 2.
“Poshmark’s services in the United States and Canada will remain unaffected,” the company added.
