If Goldblum’s Loewe show outfit had a feeling attached to it, it would definitely be joy: The star put his own stamp on double-denim, choosing a Loewe jean jacket with a corduroy collar. “My show look was a pretty simple and classic denim jacket and trousers over a white tee,” says Goldblum, who accessorized with “some fun sunglasses and some cool, soft suede shoes. I loved how easy and summery and fresh it all felt.” While he’s no stranger to taking a fashion risk (see: his many fabulous printed shirts) the actor says his wardrobe often revolves around ease and wearability. “My approach to fashion is pretty simple: Have fun, look good, and feel great,” says Goldblum. “It’s always a fun collaboration with my stylist, [Andrew Thomas Vottero.]”
The Goldblums arrived at the Loewe show, where they enjoyed taking in the collection and mingling with fellow guests. “Emilie and I were thrilled to sit in between Pedro Almodóvar and Anna Wintour,” says Goldblum. “The whole atmosphere was electric and transmogrifying.” As for some of his favorite looks from the presentation? “There were so many magical pieces—I may dream about the shiny gold shoes for years to come,” he says.
The actor admits he’s been on an accessories kick lately. “I’ve been spending time recently in Florence, Italy, and having many adventures discovering small craftsmen belt-makers and that sort of thing,” he says. This summer, you’ll catch the actor wearing some of his signature pieces—both new and old. “I would say my most signature pieces are probably my Jacques Marie Mage glasses, [my] leather jackets, maybe a chunky shoe, and probably a wild Prada shirt,” he says.
Goldblum will need a ton of looks for his busy summer, after all: The star is heading right back into some work projects, though he will also make some time for R&R. “I have to head straight to London to do some press for my new show Kaos on Netflix, and then back to our home in L.A. for some summer family vacation and staycation time,” he says. “I’ll also have some jazz gigs over the summer before a very Wicked autumn!”
