Hyundai Alcazar facelift launched: Price, key features, engine details & more

Hyundai Motor India on Monday launched the 2024 version of its popular three-row SUV, the Alcazar. The updated model boasts a host of cosmetic upgrades. It is based on an updated Hyundai Creta and has similar features, interior layout and styling.

Hyundai Alcazar price:

The price for the new SUV starts from Rs 14.99 lakh for the turbo petrol and Rs 15.99 lakh for the diesel (both prices ex-showroom). Hyundai Alcazar facelift features:
In terms of design, the Alcazar facelift has quad-beam LED headlamps, replacing the trio-beam units from the previous model. Additionally, the pre-facelift Alcazar has separate grille designs for the petrol and diesel versions.

The Alcazar also gets newly designed 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels which looks unique. It also gets functional roof rails.


The Alcazar facelift gets dual 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instrument cluster, connected car tech, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, dual wireless chargers, Type-C USB ports, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and 8-way powered front seats with two levels of memory function for the driver.The Alcazar also gets dual-zone climate control, steering-mounted controls, voice commands, OTA updates, air purifier, auto headlights, rain-sensing wipers and much more, ambient lighting and much more.The newly launched car also gets Level 2 ADAS features such as Forward Collision Warning and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (car, pedestrian, cyclist, junction turning), Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist and Lane Following Assist, Smart Cruise Control with Stop and Go and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, High Beam Assist, Driver Attention Warning and Safe Exit Warning, Blind Spot Collision Warning, Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist.

In terms of safety, it has a 360-degree camera, six airbags (as standard), ISOFIX child seat mounts, traction control, electronic stability control, and Level 2 ADAS features.

Engine options:
The Alcazar will be offered with two engine options – a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-charged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbo-charged diesel engine.

Interior design:
Moving inside, the interior layout is the same as the new Creta but gets a noble brown and haze navy colour scheme. Like the outgoing model, the facelifted Alcazar will continue to be available in both 6- and 7-seater layouts.

Colour options:
Customers can choose from eight exterior paint schemes, namely, Atlas White, Abyss Black Pearl, Ranger Khaki, Fiery Red, Robust Emerald Pearl, Starry Night, Titan Grey Matte, and Atlas White with Abyss Black roof.

Alcazar booking:
The bookings for the new Hyundai Alcazar facelift are already open, interested customers can book it online or by visiting their nearest dealership. The booking amount is set at Rs 25,000 and deliveries are expected to begin soon.
