Yuk-Ying (Anita) Mui was last seen by family leaving her Markham home in the area of Baycliffe Rd. and Warden Ave., just south of 16th Avenue, at around 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 9.

Relatives tell police she spoke to family members at around 11 a.m., but nobody’s heard from her since.

Mui’s vehicle, a white 2024 Mercedes Benz GLE450, was found later that afternoon in Scarborough, near Finch Ave. E and Warden Ave.

Police say this is “out of character” for Mui, and are treating the disappearance as suspicious.
