Home and Away Lynne McGranger has broken down in tears on live TV as she shared the emotional details of a major personal event.
The Australian actress appeared on The Morning Show on Wednesday to promote bowel cancer awareness.
The Australian Government offers free screening kits to more than six million Australians each year through the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program. But only four in 10 of these complete the test.

While speaking to host Kylie Gillies and stand-in host Matt Doran, Lynne said it was important for people to “stay on top of your health” so they can continue to enjoy the big moments in their lives.
She went on to say she had recently experienced one such milestone event with her daughter Clancy’s wedding to husband Luke.
Lynne became overwhelmed when images of her daughter in her wedding gown came on screen, saying: “Oh I’m getting teary.”
“It was the best day with the most remarkable people,” Lynne added, her voice breaking up with emotion.
“Our in-laws, or not mine, Clancy’s in-laws are divine. Their family and friends are divine. Everybody had the best time.
“It went as smooth as silk and now I have a beautiful son-in-law and they are having a great time at the moment in Mykonos – along with the rest of the world, apparently.
“And look, truly … we could not have asked for a better day.”
Lynne said that, although she was composed on the day of her daughter’s nuptials, all the emotion was now catching up with her.
“I think I had a rock of anxiety the size of Uluru in my chest for months leading up to and on the day,” she said.
“Although it did dissipate during the day – I think the margaritas helped out!
“But you know, seeing how chilled Clancy was, how fabulous her girlfriends, her attendants were, how fabulous the people (were) at the venue at Byron Bay – at The Farm, I can throw that in – and just seeing how smoothly everything was going, it all dissipated.”
Lynne was joined by Home and Away cast mate Ada Nicodemou for the big day, adding that Ada was very emotional.
“Paul and I both walked Clancy through the orchard, through the arbour, down the aisle,” Lynne said.
“And I looked over and Ada was blubbering and blubbering and like, you know, like the Greek girl that she is, actually she’s Cypriot.
“But, she said to me, ‘How were you not crying?’
“I said because I had a rock the size of Uluru of anxiety and it was only when that dissipated. and we said goodbye when they went off on their honeymoon last Friday. that I got blubbery.
“And since then, any time anyone talks about the wedding, I’m like, ‘Oh! So now it’s all coming out!’”
Lynne then revealed the one poignant act she did at her daughter’s big day to help her enjoy the moment.
“I put my phone down,” she said.
“I thought I am going to live in the moment – I put my phone down and I never picked it up the whole time.
“I had girlfriends and, you know, Ada – my personal photographer and video person.
“And everyone took photos and we had professional fabulous photographers, but I did not pick it up!”
