My signature look: My style is casual—but elevated with playful luxury pieces. I love mixing sleek neutrals with fun, colorful statement pieces. Relaxed denim, a crisp crewneck t-shirt or a bright sweater, and an oversized blazer paired with Samba sneakers—or The Row zip-up boots—and sporty sunglasses is my go-to look for days on the run—which is most days, as a business owner and a mom! Later, I’ll switch into one of my vintage 80s/90s evening jackets from Claude Montana or St. John and add a Saint Laurent slingback or Chanel bow flats.
My favorite designers: I gravitate towards labels and designers who create versatile pieces with strong silhouettes and playful details: Khaite, Chanel, The Row, Magda Butrym, Saint Laurent, Toteme, Etro, Fendi, and Prada. (If I could, I would buy the complete Khaite collection each season!)
On my fashion wish list: The Chanel 22 Handbag has been on my wishlist for the past year or so—and finally, this past week, I purchased one in white leather with a rainbow metal variation. This piece is a perfect example of a playful twist on a new classic—an elevated, versatile investment piece I am happy to have in my collection. Now on to finding the next piece for my wish list…
A fun fact about me: I have always loved reading and writing about fashion. When I was little, I would ask my parents every month to take me to the bookstore to buy the latest Vogue. Later, one of my best college papers was focused on the importance of sourcing authentic high-fashion pieces and the impact of increasingly available duplicates. In summer 2023, I started my Substack fashion newsletter, The Styled Cortado, to share my style musings, styling ideas, outfit commentaries, pieces I am excited about, seasonal runway observations, and fashion op/eds. (And as my newsletter’s title suggests, I very likely have an espresso cup nearly glued to my hand as I’m typing.)
