In the spotlight today: Meet fitness and fashion fanatic Eve Dawes. When not blogging about the hottest fashion trends or working as a personal trainer, she’s longing for Chanel bags!

My signature look: Something classically feminine—and chic, of course—accompanied by a little glam. I was a professional ballerina for a decade, so give me anything with tulle, structure, and crystals. Look for me in oversized sunglasses with either retro waves or a sleek bun, nude glossy lips, and a fitted mini dress.
My favorite designers: My favorites for shoes, bags, and accessories are Versace, Chanel, and Dior, while I turn to Balmain for their signature gold buttons and structured shoulders, and Valentino and Self-Portrait for statement pieces and David Koma for something a little edgier but still glamorous and ultra-femme. Roland Mouret is my go-to for structured daytime dresses, and Retrofête for sexy, fashion-forward day-to-night styles.
On my fashion wish list: Top of the list is the Chanel Caviar Quilted Mini Top Handle Rectangular Flap bag in black. I love this style, as it’s big enough for the day but small enough for the evening, and it’s slightly different from the classic flap bag while still being timeless. I like investing in pieces I know will get a lot of wear, and caviar leather lasts so much better than lambskin.
Van Cleef & Arpels’ Magic Alhambra pendant is another iconic statement piece that could be worn for day or night and adds a little (or a lot) of sparkle to any outfit. Lastly, the Rolex Perpetual Datejust in stainless steel and 18K yellow gold with diamond hour markers. I’m petite, so the 26mm size works with my frame. I don’t normally wear watches, but would make an exception for this. The blue face makes it slightly different to most of the other styles out there.
A fun fact about me: My blog, Glamour and Gains, got its name from two aspects of life I take a great interest in: Glamour is for my love of fashion and style, while Gains comes from my work as a personal trainer and my life as an entrepreneur and a wife. The blog is for the gains I want all of us to make in every aspect of our lives.
