A Woolworths customer has taken aim after noting a staggering increase in the cost of one popular variety of eggs.
Sharing on X, the shopper shared his outrage after spotting the price of a dozen Pace Farms Jumbo 800g Eggs.
A screenshot of the Woolworths website shows that the popular buy retails for a steep $10.20 per dozen.

“Are @Woolworths done taking the p***?” the X user asked.
“$10.20 for a dozen eggs?”
It’s understood that the cost of this particular brand recently increased at Woolworths due to a price rise from the supplier.
7NEWS.com.au has reached out to Pace Farms for further comment.
In a recent media statement, the major egg supplier said it was implementing “additional grading capacity at other locations” in the wake of the recent outbreak of avian influenza at various sites.
“As one of Australia’s largest egg producers, we understand this situation may have an effect on access to eggs for some customers and consumers,” Pace Farms said in the June 27 statement.
“We are working as quickly as possible to rectify this situation.”
