Fortnite developer Epic Games is getting ready to hold a giant end of season event in Battle Royale.
Titled Remix: The Finale, the Fortnite Juice WRLD event will be available on all platforms, including PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Android and Nintendo Switch.
Bringing an end to the short-lived Remix season, next big Fortnite event has a November 30 release date and a 7pm UK start time (that’s 2pm ET in the US).
Recent events have been extremely popular, leading to longer waiting times to get online. With this in mind, Epic has warned players to login early to avoid any server issues.
The company recommends logging in by 6.20pm GMT or 1.20pm ET for fans living in the US.
Epic explains more: “Remix: The Finale is coming soon! Doors open at 1:20 PM ET on November 30, and the show kicks off at 2:00 PM ET. Log in early to avoid the queue.”
Personally, I would recommend logging into the event even earlier, just in case it’s more popular than expected.
The Fortnite event will reportedly last for around 14 minutes and feature new tracks from Snoop Dogg and Juice WRLD.
“This in-game concert event connects dreamscapes from Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and Juice WRLD!” reads an Epic post.
“The concert will include a new single from Snoop Dogg, ‘Another Part Of Me (feat. Sting)’, as well as the exclusive world premiere of an all-new Juice WRLD track, ‘Empty Out Your Pockets’.”
The good news is that unlike some recent events, Remix: The Finale will be repeated later that day. Times will be announced once the event comes to an end, so keep checking back for confirmation.
Anybody who logs in from now until December 1 at 3am GMT will receive a selection of free Juice WRLD rewards from the item shop
This includes the Slayer Juice WRLD Outfit, the 999 Knives Pickaxe, the 999 Knives Back Bling, and the Adventure, Remix’d Loading Screen.
That’s on top of the Number One Remix Loading Screen, the Remix With the Golden Touch Loading Screen and the Juice’s WRLD Loading Screen, featuring art by Takashi Murakami.
According to Epic Games, anybody who misses out on the items will be able to purchase them from the Item Shop at a later date.
The event will be followed by the start of Chapter 6, Season 1 on the morning of December 1.
Judging by event timings, downtime is likely to begin at around 3am GMT UK time, and will run until mid-morning.
As you can see from the trailer above, Chapter 6, Season 1 is titled Hunters. The Japanese-themed season will include giant bosses such as Godzilla.
Kong is also tipped to appear, alongside Baymax from Big Hero 6. Other rumoured crossovers include One Punch Man, Agent 47 from Hitman, The Riddler and Black Mask.
You can check out the Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 teaser trailer above for a closer look at some of the new additions.
